1. you CAN'T turn in this wrapper for a free Tootsie Pop.... you never could either, it is a complete urban myth.
2. instead of just removing the image from the wrapper, the Tootsie Roll company invented a story about how "a long long time ago" a man was visited by an Indian Chief and he help him invent lollipops.
3. Native Americans are not at all happy with the fact that the "little Indian boy" still remains on the wrapper and that the company has invented a offensive story to 'sell'.

My whole growing up I remember knowing that you had to have five with a star to get a free tootsie pop! I searched every one !A lie? Don't tell me any more! My world is constantly crashing around me. Why is that?!
