time keeps on slippin' into the future

On Sunday the whole family went out to eat at Jason's Deli. It was nice to have Mason with us. Over the years Jason's Deli had become my preferred destination for dinner while Mason was out of town which was a lot. During that time Braden and I developed a nice routine to manage the line of ordering, paying, getting drinks, finding a table, and generally getting everything set up. Back then we would put Tristan in a highchair and Braden would push him around and then eventually to the chosen booth. On Sunday however because Mason was with us T was left to toddle around. When it came time to sit down and eat Tristan refused to sit in the highchair, choosing instead to sit next to me in the booth... to which Braden exclaimed "What a big boy Mom!" To which I got quite a bit sad....
