Why do organizations that ALWAYS ask me for a donation (Oxfam, Best Friends Rescue, my Alma mater etc...) send me these elaborate newsletters and info packets telling me how much they need money... "Until you stop sending me pamphlets and handouts with glossy photos and you are down to ONE guy sitting in a cramped office calling me personally - YOU AIN'T GETTIN' SQUAT!!!"

I totally relate. I will give money to worthwhile organization, but then I get so many expensive mailings from them, I figured I just paid to send myself junk mail
